Obituary of Vance Terrance Ronald Marriott

MARRIOTT, Vance Terrance Ronald (1959-2021)  - It is with heartbreaking sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Vance on February 12, 2021 at the age of 61. Vance passed away peacefully at home with his greatest love Michelle by his side. Loving stepfather to Jess, Haley and Zach. Beloved son of Rick and the late Margaret Marriott. Dearest brother of Cheryl (Stan), Kevin (Debbie) and Carol (Wallie). Adoring uncle to Nick (Miranda), Amanda (Justin), Alannah (Rich), Waylon, Justine (Justin), Jordan, Eric, Phillip, Daniel and his special angels Hannah, Heidi and Hazel. Vance will be sadly missed by our wonderful neighbors, many good friends and our close-knit creeker family. Vance loved living on Black Creek and was never happier than when he was out on the raft with a beer in his hand. A special thanks for the incredible, compassionate care we received from Dr. Hallock and Martha McKelvey from Walker Cancer Center, our home nurse Carrie and the wonderful Dr. Scher. A private ceremony and burial for immediate family will take place at St Paul’s Church in Fort Erie and a celebration of Vance’s life for family and friends will be planned at a later date.
