Dear Shirley, Stephen and Kristen, condolences to you.
We have many great memories of travelling to Youth events and softball games. And later when we started our Plumbing and Heating business Bert was a tremendous help training us and over seeing the Accounting. We will ALWAYS remember the great family times around your pool. Uncle Bert, I will miss you . I have great memories coming to visit you and Aunt Shirley in the summer as a child. Going to Crystal Beach park, swimming in the river and just having fun . And as an adult, though we did not see each other often, I enjoyed the time we did have . Many times you asked after me to friends, wondering how I was doing . You would always ask, with a smile and a twinkle in your eye - “is my niece working hard or hardly working” . I am working hard Uncle Bert and will never forget you
Rest peacefully

Shirley, Stephen, Kristen and families.
My deepest sympathy to you all. He certainly will be missed. I have known Bert for many years. Playing baseball with BYPU he used to encourage me to "run faster around those bases". It was like he was a member of the Seburn family, as he fit right in with all my uncles. I enjoyed working with him on many committees at the church. He mentored me on being church treasurer. He was a central part of my memories or our many rehearsals and presentations with His Signature Singers. My greatest memory was the wonderful interest he took in encouraging Belva when she worked at Erie Christian Academy. She really enjoyed his visits when he came out to the school. It meant a lot to both of us that he always asked about her when she got sick with leukemia and then liver cancer - not too many people showed that concern and love for her.
My brother Charlie asked me to convey his sympathies as well. Bert was his Sunday School teacher for many years and Charlie still remembers the lessons Bert taught and the care he had for all his boys.

It was a little over one year ago that I saw Bert in a cspecial hurch service at Golden Harvest Baptist Church. He was the same person that I have always know. I remember a Wednesday night when I was in charge of a service at First Baptist Church in Fort Erie. He was the only one who came out and supported me. Always in my memory.
