From when we organized FESS events in our teens until a few days before she left the earth, Sheri always brought positive thoughts and a focussed, powerful energy to everything she did, everyone with whom she interacted. She hoped we would carry on that positive force. She has left us too soon and I hope we can fulfil that wish. My heart goes out to her family. I will miss you, Brownie. Alex Pike

Sheri and I met during baseball more than 20 years ago and became good friends. I didn’t play but Sheri was an awesome first base player. Hair done, nails done, not many balls got by Sheri. She was dedicated to everyone in her life, husband, mom, furkids, friends and job. She was always upbeat, happy living life, going to Papi Club, Music Trivia night and meeting for lunches and dinners. She loved her gardens looking forward to every spring season. I always knew her love of the colour orange but recently learned she didn’t like anything that tasted of orange, she asked giggling if that was weird and I said absolutely not. I always told her she should write a column because I loved the way she describe things in a way you could picture exactly what she meant. In an email she described on the evening before her 50th birthday she reflected on the setting sun was like the years of her life. Sheri was truly a beautiful soul. Woohoo Sheri...I’ll think of you every time I say it ❤️

Sheri is one of my closest friends and I love her. We started school together as little kids. We've always been together, sometimes far away, sometimes living our lives in different directions, apart but always with each other.
We remember things so many years ago. Same memories from when we were little, middle school, high school- high school memories which Sheri kept alive, for all of us, 212 graduates from FESS, who have managed to reunite every 5-10 years, going on 40 years. She loved keeping us in touch, continually cheering us all on, in all kinds of ways, for all the things we do. Whether it's remembering birthdays and special events, she's got you.
Even in sharing her hellos when she fell ill, knowing how terribly ill she was, there were 'woo whos' and ❤s for us!
I have some 'woo who's' for Sheri. She was always a great student, a fully involved high school student-in education, school government, clubs and sports. She was a community volunteer with the Cdn cancer society and the tennis club, a participant and trainer in the dog training program, a dedicated worker and colleague in the law society and a friend to all who knew her. She was the best of a daughter, a granddaughter, a wife, a step mother, a cousin, a best friend and a close family friend. Woo who Brownie! Woo who! ❤❤❤❤ we love you and will always miss you, Nev

I met Sheri when she was just a young girl. She was always full of life.
I hadn't seen her in quite awhile, but when I did she was just as full of life. She was so outgoing
and never forgot anyone.
She was always a beautiful person inside and out. You will be missed by so many.
Rest in Peace
My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.
