Wayne and Family, I met Wanda at Garrison Place where I volunteer and often visited with her during her stay at DMH. I am so very sorry for your loss and I am sorry for us all who are not able to express our sadness and support during this time due to the situation we are all in worldwide. Please know that we are with you in spirit and are thinking of you all during this time. Wanda was a very nice lady and I am glad that I was able to know a little part of her.

I am so very sad, my old friend has passed , but she will never be forgotten. Wanda was a classic in every way, her smile, her style, her positive outlook, her Manhattan martinis, she had class to the core. And she always said no one would ever know her age, it would never be put on her tombstone. Finally, when she turned 90, she admitted to me there had been a celebration. It was then, to my surprise, I realized she was much older than I was, but she never looked it, nor did she ever act it.
One of my favourite memories was a story she told me...the police pulled her over on the 401 for going way under the speed limited. She was so upset, why was she being pulled over when all these people were going too fast?
