Surrounded by her family’s love Barbara passed away on October 4th, 2019 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Thomas Donald. Proud mother of Thomas Mark (Rosslynn Julie), Dawn (Bill) Shannon and Lynn (Fred) Barber. Cherished by her 8 grandchildren Sean, Christopher, Scott, Geoff, Michael, Amanda, Brian and Courtney. She leaves 9 great grandchildren with wonderful memories. Predeceased by her daughter Shari Christine (1981) and sister Shelia (1957) .
The family acknowledge the outstanding staff at Douglas Memorial Hospital including Dr. Che and Scher all of whom provided dignified and compassionate care to Barbara during her illness.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1-3 pm. A private interment service will follow visitation. If so desired donations to the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
