Obituary of Mary Howard

HOWARD, Mary (nee Slack) Passed away on Monday August 1, 2016 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie, after a very long, hard fought battle with cancer at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Arnold "Red" Howard (2002). Dear mother of Gail Henwood (Dave), Janet del Rio (the late Bernie, 2011), Gordon (Marguerite) and Bruce (Lynn). Cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 12. Survived by many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Mary was very family oriented and was very dedicated and devoted to them. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Che for his care and friendship and also to the staff at Douglas Memorial Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Douglas Memorial Hospital Palliative Care.
