Obituary of Verna Evelyn Jamieson
JAMIESON, Verna Evelyn (nee Martin) - age 90; of Six Nations Indian Reservation, Ohsweken, Ontario and Fort Erie, Ontario, peacefully passed on May 27th, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Loris Arnold Jamieson; dearest mother of Charles (Margie), Linda (Kevin), late Shirley Ellen (Tom), Arnold, late Joanna Mae, and Darrell (Kimberley); cherished grandmother of Ron (Jess), Lori (Tony), Robert (Keara), James (Danielle), Ellen (Jimmy), Trent, Tony, Brian (Nichole), Kevin (Heather), Blake, Tyson, Aaliyah, Crystal and Margie; beloved great-grandmother of 16; and sister to one living brother Lummy; predeceased by Gladys, Max, Margarette, Rita, Jack, Lloyd, Jimmy and Dorothy. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Verna was a proud member of the Indian Defense League of America, Buffalo Branch; Guild member Church of the Accession, Buffalo, St. Paul Anglican Church, Six Nations, St. Mary's on the Hill, Buffalo and St. Paul's Anglican Church, Fort. Erie; Assistant Coach Little League Tim Horton's Baseball Team, Fort Erie; Lifelong member Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre and Buffalo Native American Cultural Services and an avid Bowler. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Scher, Dr. Lee and the entire staff at the Douglas Memorial Hospital for their wonderful care provided.
