Obituary of Frederick Swords

Frederick Philip Swords passed away at the Greater Niagara General on Wednesday January 6th, 2016 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Rita. Loving father of Michael (Elaine), Joseph (Susan), Joanna and Mary Ann. Cherished grandfather of Gregory. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Julie Ann and sisters Naida Bradnam and Eve Gruarin. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Sunday January 10th from 4-8 pm. Requiem Mass will be offered on Monday at 10:30 at Our Lady of the Rosary (231 McKinley Pkwy, Buffalo, NY) followed by interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined, donations to National Pilgrim Virgin of Canada would be appreciated.
