MERCER, Donald Marvin - Passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Thursday June 19, 2014 at the age of 60.Loving father of his 4 children, Christine (Chuck) Doner, Stephanie (Steve) Klauck, Amanda (Hugo) Jacinto and Donald Marvin Mercer Jr. Adored grandfather (Bapa) to his 7 grandchildren Nicola, Alexis, Nolan, Caitlyn, Ryan, Isabella and Aydan. He will be sadly missed by his brother Robert and sister Lisa, as well as his nieces and nephews. Don will also be fondly remembered by Debbie. He is predeceased by his parents Mervin and Leola, his sisters Judy Lee and Carol Lee Zebec, and brother Larry. Family and friends will be received at BENNER FUNERAL SERVICES, 1105 Benner Rd, Fort Erie, on Sunday June 22 from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel on Monday June 23 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. If so desired, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
