It is times like this that we realize what family is all about. We share in your loss of Bob, your companion of 19 years, and a member of our family. Bob was considered a brother-in-law to me and an uncle to my daughter and her husband.
Bob was there for Joyce and the rest of us , in good times and bad times; Bob was a man you could count on. Just as we considered him family, he considered us a part of his family. There will be an empty chair at our table for him, representing the void his passing will leave with us.
In the recent years, Bob was a source of support to me personally, and I enjoyed having meals with him and Joyce , and all the conversations and laughs we would have. I saw first hand what they meant to each other and the love they shared.
Bob, you are now free of pain, we will miss you, rest in peace.

Joyce, our sincere condolences for your loss. Bob was part of our family life over the past 18 yrs. and he always was there for us and treated us like one of his own family. We know Bob suffered over the past 10 years with Health issues but you were always right there for him; at his side to support and help him overcome his health struggles. Thank you Bob for all the wonderful memories we shared with you and Aunt Joyce. We always looked forward to the car rides around town, summer days by the pool and the weekend garage sales. Ethan keeps safe every coin collection you have given him and will continue to add to them. Our family will miss you terribly, we will share in the memories with Aunt Joyce and think of you fondly.

Aunt Joyce, Thank you for bringing Bob into our family. We know your heart is broken and so is ours. He was certainly one of a kind - one of the kindest people we've ever known. He never missed a family event and we always looked forward to having him. Even through the health struggles of the past 6 months while you cared for him, he never complained - always had a smile on his face. We will miss him so much but are so grateful to have had him be part of our family for the last 18 years! We love you Bob!
