Obituary of James Charles Simpson

Simpson : James Charles Jim passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday March 11th, 2015 at the age of 65. Proud father to Jodi Simpson, Tami (Doug) Banfield and Lori (Wayne) Andrews. Cherished grandpa of Charlotte, Maddie, Gavin and Megan and one to arrive in May. Beloved son of Elsie (The late George) Simpson. Sadly missed by his wife Cathy, by his sister Pat (Richard) McLennan. Fondly remembered by niece Michelle (Jim) Connaughton, nephew Scott (Carrie) McLennan, great nephews Taylor and Connor and great nieces Sophie and Emillia. Special and devoted friend of Doris Monbourquette and family James served with the Canadian Navy and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and will be remembered by his large circle of friends for his love of sports his sense of humour and his devotion to those he loved. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Monday March 16th, from 10 am until the time of service in the Funeral Chapel at 11 o'clock.
