Obituary of Iris Crichton

Crichton: Iris Iris passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Friday October 10th, 2014 at the age of 80. Wife of Jack. Loving mother of Lesley Rachele of Fort Erie and Pam (George) Mackie of Crystal Beach. Cherished grandmother of Carly, Greta and Alexandria. Iris was employed for over 23 years with Zellers and afterwards dedicated herself to making the world a better place by volunteering her time and energy with organizations such as Family and Children's Services, Rose Seaton School and Our Lady of Grace. While she volunteered for the betterment of others, she gained much from it as well, including awards from the Province and local organizations. Iris's love of golf was highlighted by playing such courses as Carnoustie, Glen Eagles, Turnberry and St. Andrews during a 1986 trip. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday October 14th from 6 pm until the time of service in the Chapel at 7:30 pm.
